Matt Blunt Balances Budget on Backs of Convicted Sex Offenders
Matt Blunt has decreed that convicted sex offenders will no longer receive Medicaid paid Viagra:
"Taxpayers' dollars should never be used to purchase sexual performance drugs for known sex offenders," Gov. Matt Blunt said in a statement.Unfortunately, the governor doesn't seem to have elaborated for whom taxpayers' dollars should be used to purchase sexual performance drugs.

Taxpayer dollars shouldn't be spent on sexual disfunction drugs for sex offenders. They also shouldn't be spent on gastric-bypass surgery for people who refuse to eat less.
But sexual criminals are a complicated mess. Under what other scenario do we admit that people behind bars are a real threat to others, and still release them onto the streets?
