Matt Blunt Breaks Price Caps

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch tried to denigrate recent bill signings by Matt Blunt this way in an article entitled "New laws alarm consumer groups":

Two of the new laws make it easier for utility companies to pass cost increases on to their customers and to end a cap on phone company rate increases.

A bastion of socialism falls. The government can no longer demand that utilities eat cost increases or make less profit when their costs rise. Perish the thought.
